Waiting for Obed

Hello everyone...thought I'd try out this Blog thing and keep you updated on the Baby Watch '08.

We are at St. John's hospital in Springfield MO. "We" so far are Deborah (duh) Alicia, Garrett, Grandma Joan, and Tanta (me). Deborah is getting her IV started right now. She has had her whole life's history documented one question at a time, is in her sexy blue gown, and has already sneaked some food.

Her nurse is Diane. Diane has been an OB nurse for 30 years. She seems pretty cool so far, but not so sure she wouldn't turn mean if we don't mind our P's and Q's (what does that really mean anyway?) Unfortunately for her (or us) we're not known for such consistently good behavior.

So we're expecting Opa and Oma and Auntie Pam and Tereasa soon. We're also expecting Dr. Stanczyck (pronounced Stan-sick - crazy Polocks sp?) Not here yet.

Well, Opa just came in. Time for a break. More soon...
